I had been trying to find a recipe similar to this online and nothing I was trying worked so I decided to take what I knew make up my own and it had delicious results.

Ingredients : 1 package peanut butter cookie dough, granulated sugar, and 1 bag candy cane kisses.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Roll about a teaspoon of dough into a ball, then cover it in sugar by rolling it around. Place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake for 10 – 12 minutes. Take out of the oven and immediately place one kiss in the middle of each of the cookies push down relatively well you want the cookie to start cracking around the edges. Then place directly into your freezer for 10 minutes or until the chocolate is mostly set. You can then transfer to a cooling rack till it really sets.

Thats it. The majority of the time this takes is cooking and cooling. They taste very similar to a thin mint to me and they are the perfect size cookie for having at a holiday party. I have shared this recipe and gotten great feed back. I also love that cleanup is so easy. If you bake it on the parchment paper you only need a quick wipe and it is ready to be put away, using the pre-made cookie dough also means I don’t have much clean up there either.
