In the last couple months I have had the feeling that our feet haven’t hit the ground. But for at least a few minutes I feel the ground under us. Gunnar and I are in San Diego. I can’t wait to share the pictures fun places we visit while we are out here! But for right now here are some things that have been going on around here.
I have been working really hard to complete some crochet projects. I was taught the basics a long time ago and had finally decided I was going to learn to read patterns one way or another so I just kind of jumped right in and started on a 1920s style hat. Then I moved onto a baby blanket (get the pattern here) and rounded it out with another hat for me. I’m currently working on a hat for Gunnar but I’m having a terrible time reading this pattern and have to keep tearing my rows out.
I am also working on a large sewing project that I hope to be able to share soon. I am really enjoying my sewing projects too. I can’t wait to get this one done and move on to some others I have my eyes on!
Class is going well and I am looking forward to taking more this spring! I am also very lucky that it looks like my photography business is taking root! I’ve gotten several inquires and booked session dates for the rest of this fall and even one next year!
We also have completed a big project in our bathroom which I will be sharing next week! You have no idea how much a room with impact your routine until you can’t use it. Well now that it is back I am thrilled!
