Kamikaze Cocktail with a Twist

June 20, 2013

I really enjoy mixing up a fresh new cocktail to try. The Kamikaze first made it’s appearance in the 1930s and is a classic sipping drink.

Kami1

1 1/2 oz of Vodka (I used Mandrin Vodka to give it an extra citrus flavor)
1 oz of Triple Sec
3/4 oz of Fresh Lemon Juice
Lime Wedge for Garnish

After trying it this way I decided sugaring the rim would give it a little extra sweet for those who don’t like sour drinks. But this was refreshing and a wonderful summer drink for the backyard.

Being a recent legal aged drinker this actually sounds quite nice!! 🙂

If you try it tell me what you think. It’s really citrus heavy so I recommend the sugar rim for sure!

I’ll make sure to get back to you! 🙂 And in the post you say a salted rim, not sugared just to let you know 🙂
