I don’t know if I have said this before but fall is my favorite time of year and Halloween is my favorite holiday. For the last couple of years I have been working on perfecting my Halloween treat list, you can see past years here and here. ┬áThis year I decided to try something really sweet and really over the top Halloween.

It turned out great, from my first batch I only have a few pieces left so I think that I will be making a little bit more before Halloween. Which is fine because this is so easy and fast.

You will need 1 lb white chocolate chips, 12-13 orange oreo cookies, 1 1/2 cups pretzel sticks, candy corn, assorted halloween sprinkles and really any other favorite Halloween candy.

On a cookie sheet place a piece of parchment paper and then break your cookies and spread out on the paper. Take your pretzel sticks and break them up too. We don’t really care for candy corn but I didn’t want to exclude them so I only included about a half a cup and a few for sprinkling on top.

Meanwhile melt your chocolate. I used a chocolate melter but you can do this in a double broiler or a saucepan on the stove with low heat. The trick is to keep the heat low and keep stirring so the chocolate wont get scorched.

Once your chocolate is melted pour over your cookies and pretzels using a spatula or spoon to spread out. While the chocolate is still wet sprinkle with remaining candy corns and all your different halloween sprinkles. Place in your fridge to set up, don’t forget it like I did or you will have to wait while it warms back up to a temperature you can break it at. Break into different size chunks and you are done!

It was really great as is but the next time I’m thinking I will include some chopped up twix bars or kit-kats because they are our favorite Halloween candy. If you try it out let me know what you include in yours!
