I guess you can officially call this a tradition now. I really like making fall wreaths. Last year I made one using instructions I found online but the flowers were looking tired so I decided to make a new one for this year. This is what I did.
I used fall colored construction paper and some leftover orange-yellow fabric as well as a wire hanger for the structure.
I did my best to unwind and then make a circle out of the hanger. I then covered it with fabric using Elmer’s glue every so often to keep it tight. I then free hand cut out the feathers from the construction paper so they would all be a little different. Then I hot glued the feathers onto the wreath form and bam! it was done.
The longest part of the whole project was cutting out the feathers. I just got an iced coffee and turned on a show and cut away. The perfect way to spend an afternoon if you ask me! Do you like making your own holiday decorations or buying them already made?

Wow, that is real pretty. Here in Brisbane, we don’t get the changing colour of leaves, sadly. It is too tropical here. I have seen the autumn/fall colours two times, when I have visited Ontario. So beautiful..
We are very lucky to have all the seasons every year where I live. I can’t wait till the trees in our yard start to change colors. I will be clicking away at my camera every chance I get.
The wreath is cute Mikey, thanks for sending me the text last night
Love you
