I’m here to share a few pages of my December Daily album with you on this rainy Christmas Eve Day. These are my highlights, my favorite pages from this project. And I do love this project. I have thought about it for a year and am so glad I started December Daily for this season.
I love glitter, and confetti and sequins and I’m always trying to figure out how to incorporate them into my albums. So I started out this book with a clear pocket page that I sewed the plastic December, from the Ali Edwards kit onto. I then filled the page with some gold and light aqua sequins and taped the twenty fourteen banner to. I love how it is like a peek into the beginning of December. So much magic!
Here is a better shot of the December piece.
I tried really hard to capture pictures each day and stay chronological, but that is a lot harder than it seemed so I ended up with something loosely linear and used things like ornament pictures to fill in the gaps.
I love this page, Gunnar and I were scoping out a photoshoot location and snapped some quick pictures. I wish we had brought the tripod so we could both be in them but thats ok they still turned out great!
Here I documented getting through my finals and our tree. I loved putting the little polaroid into a pocket with sequins, plastic shapes, and tissue paper confetti!
I decided to fill in with a little piece of our wrapping paper from this year and used a big chipboard W for Wrap to embellish it. I really love getting to hang out with friends and play games. We are so lucky to have a group of people that come whenever we need a game night!
This is probably my favorite page in the whole album. I’m not much on journaling but I really wanted to say something so I used the big page of the tree and illustrated Christmas things along with my journaling then put it right in the middle of my album. I love how it breaks up the pictures and gives me a place to say so much even if they aren’t all words.
I also love this page. It isn’t anything special it just documents the every day moments from our lives and really reminds me about how much I love where we are right now. Even though we are busy and don’t have lots of free time we make time to be with each other and that is so important! Happy Christmas Eve!!!
