When it comes to getting my business up and going I have very clear goals in how to get from here to there. One of the things that has really helped me get started was having priorities, these listed in this post is just my business priorities not my life priorities that is for another focus all together.
Priorities can sometimes be overwhelming but they are really just a list with more important tasks at the top. So don’t let the wording intimidate you into not prioritizing.
1. My blog. Posting content 3 to 4 times a week, having original content is very important for me. It allows to me to continue to grow and learn and have a totally open creative outlet.
2. Creating designs for my paper goods shop. I love sketching up unique ideas for use on greeting cards. Even though a lot of my sketches never get taken to completion they let me sift through the not so good ideas to the ideas that need some work.
3. Learning new techniques. Practice makes perfect and learning allows me to get better at my craft.
4. Networking. One of the biggest priorities for Happy Apple this year is to get it out in front of more people so it and I can grow! I know this is at the bottom of my list but it really is something that I need to be doing and thinking about all the time rather than a specific activity or chunk of time.
