Fall is a great time to break out your big soup pots of slow cookers and make hearty comfort meals like soups. I really enjoy them because they are usually make a head meals that you can either throw together and let cook all day or reheat easily later for a delicious dinner. Here are some of my favorites.
Hamburger Stew is a great place to start if you are looking to clean out your fridge but make an awesome meal at the same time. It has carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, celery and rice.
Chicken Tortilla is one of my all time favorites for lunch. It has a little spice but not so much that I can’t eat it. Plus it is a little bit on the lighter side and freezes well if you make too much!
Chili who doesn’t love a good chili and cornbread meal on chili autumn days?
Cheesy Potato Soup is another classic and goes really well with BLTs. Yum!
Corn Chowder is a new recipe I tried last fall and was a great way to use up leftover holiday ham. I definitely recommend it!
